What Thrice is

Thrice ("we", "us") is a recipe and nutrition tracking service operated by Three Square LLC, available at cookthrice.com and as an iPhone app. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address, name, and public handle.
  • Content you add: recipes, photos you upload or capture (meals, cookbook pages, pantry shelves, receipts, menus), nutrition logs, goals, pantry and shopping items, and cook history.
  • Product usage events (for example, "recipe imported") that help us understand how Thrice is used. We do not use third-party trackers or advertising analytics.

How we use it

Only to run Thrice. Content you submit, such as a recipe page, a photo of a meal, or a receipt, is processed by service providers acting on our behalf to power features like recipe extraction and nutrition estimates. We show no ads, and we never sell your data or share it for advertising.

Where it lives

Data is stored with cloud infrastructure providers (application hosting and file storage) under our control. Photos and other files are stored privately and served only through Thrice.

Sharing

Nothing you save is public unless you create a share link. A shared recipe page shows the recipe, your first name, and your profile photo if you have one; anyone with the link can view it. Deleting the recipe kills its links.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account in the iPhone app under Settings, or by writing to us. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your account, recipes, logs, and stored photos are removed, with short-lived infrastructure backups aging out on their own.

Children

Thrice is not directed at children under 13.
